Needed a new rear Tourance, but could I locate one?....tried my usual places in Thame/High Wycombe and Slough.....they couldn't source them for some days and Micheldever was to far!

One call to Watling Tyres....'Yup we've got some [more than one?!] of those IN STOCK'.

I used them all the time when I lived in the area - they never let me down. I use them less so, now that I live out west, but it's great to know they still keep good stock levels!

Looking for a new tyre? Give them a try if it is in your area.

P.S. Ride in...ride out [wheel removed/tyre fitted/balanced/wheel re fitted] £103.53

P.P.S. This probably sounds like a plug [excuse the pun!].......it is....I own the company and I want your money.....simple!
;)

Something to bear in mind with Watlings, not all of them do the full service. I used to use Redhill and they were also great, however they wouldn't drop the wheel for me, I had to remove it myself (usually on their forecort).

My experiences of the branches customer service is great, however I did have a negative experience with the head office when they took over an issue that the branch had held their hands up to.

Watling tyres

good chaps these. I've used them for at least 12 years now. All bikes all tyres. Had a puncture recently...rolled in...repaired ...no charge... (s'pose I'm an old customer) but, this attitude rapidly disappearing.

Watlings wins again

I've been going to Watlings for years and they have never let me down.
Recently bought a R1200GS and picked up a 2" nail.....

I called JOhn and he had the tyre (Michelin) in stock. He knows his business and stocks up unlike some dealers who charge a great deal more, don't keep stock and have to order.....
So John, keep up the good service.

PS having a tork wrench available for BMW riders would be a definite plus :D
