WAW Wow!

Cool!
Between the book and the gpd file - a ready made trip! :thumb2
Thanks guys. :) :clap

We did Inishowen part of WAW over the last couple of days. Fantastic roads beaches views and places to stop off. Never covered so little mileage so enjoyably. Of course most amazing weather.

Did some sections of this on my travels at the weekend and I have to say I think they did a pretty good job with the sign posting & getting the information out there. The signs even tell you which way to head if you're doing it in a northerly or southerly direction (not always as obvious as you'd think especially if joining / rejoining it along the route, before the SmartArse brigade chime in !)

That said, I'm a little surprised with some of the bits they've included / excluded. So far the only dubious bit I've explored is between Greencastle & Kinnagoe. The road heads inland while there's a perfectly good, albeit slightly narrow, road over the top of Glennagiveny which offers spectacular views in both directions

Looking forward to exploring more of it when I get the time…..

Was up there recently & spotted that scenic shortcut - wondered why it was not "sanctified" with a sign?
