Last one for now I promise !!!
On my old Garmin etc, I could save a waypoint in a list and call it anything I wanted to eg: Andy's House (or similar)
There seems to be no way of doing this on the Connected Nav unit.
Or am I missing something. I liked being able to call my waypoints by something I could actually remember ...
If it can't be done, any tips ?
Many Thanks

Do you mean waypoints on a route ?
If so, if the route is created on the navigator or the app, then no i dont think you can rename. If the route was created via mra then you can rename a waypoint and that comes across.
Or if you mean a waypoint as a saved place (favourates), you cant rename on the navigator but you can from the app and then it sinks across.

That's a start. I've had a look but can't for the life of me figure out how to do it in the App either !

I'll certainly try for you .....

Open the Connected Ride App on either phone or Tablet.
At the bottom of the screen to the right of the "Mountains" are 3 dots, select these. This will give you a whole page of options.
Click on "Destinations and Routes", then "Favourites"
This will then show a list of your saved favourites.
Either side of the name of the saved favourite are 2 vertical bars.If you press and slide the left hand bars to the right, you get a little "pencil" symbol.
If you click the pencil, it brings up an edit box.
Under "Description" you can call the favourite (Waypoint ?) anything you like.
When you've done that, click on the big Blue "Save" bar, and your favourite now has the name you want.
After the unit has "Synchronised" with the App, your Favourite has the name you want on the Navigator too.

It was all a bit of a Faff to find, and I'd have struggled without the advice above (Buttertub)
I wish BMW issued some sort of user manual, it all seems a bit of a stab in the dark at times !! :)

Hope this helps someone out
