I had BMW replace the Orange side sticker on my Olive Green GSA. They did a terrible job, rather than getting them to do it again, I am going to do it myself. Is it the type you spray water on then get the bubbles out? Or is there another special way of doing it? Any suggestions, other than replacing it with a vinyl sticker, would be appreciated.

thanks
John

I would have someone make up decent quality vinyl stickers and get rid of the bloody awful looking carrier film on the standard logos, on the matt and satin paint they stand out like a sore thumb.

2 Wheel Humvee is your man, but he's away at the moment.

Halfway through fitting new stickers to my bike, they are black and silver reflective so have to be put on in two parts

Did your supplier send them as 2 separate parts?

WE used to do a fair amount of motorsport back in the day and my brother was a dab hand at applying decals. He swears by using a small amount of water with washing up liquid in it, this will allow you to move the sticker around to get the position spot on. You will almost always get the odd air bubble, use a small pin to prick them and you wont notice. Hope this helps :)
