So I went into town this afternoon in the van and there parked blocking the pavement in front of the war memorial opposite the parking area in the square was a new WC 1200 with some bloke in hi-viz walking round it looking at it from all sides.
So I thought, maybe the poor chap has broken down and had to shove it off the main road. It was a 1200 after all and everybody on here says they do so they must.
" All right mate, liking the new water cooled GS? " ( clever as fuck, he'd know I knew about bikes even if he didnae know what a 'Das Dug' Tee shirt was. )
He grunted something, turned his back and walked off to sit on a bench.
Well, fuck him. I decided not to care, nor to offer him a lift for him and his bike ( if it was dead) in my van.
If you are reading this I hope you did break down and sat in the roasting sun slowly cooking while waiting several hours for the AA wagon to come get you. I would have helped you push it round the corner to his yard to save you the wait.
Knob.
Not so much for being rude but for being a knob and blocking the pavement on a busy main road when folk were out in the sunshine with weans in prams.
