In Charley Boorman's epic USA Adventure (ch5 uk) this week, we see him & his crew riding their GS's flat out on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah.

Interesting to see the speeds they achieved didn't seem to be affected by pillions!

140 mph on the salt is pretty impressive given that you lose a fair bit of traction on the loose surface.
