FANTASTIC ..........must have been an amazing trip. One to cherish. Looking forward to the piccies and report.

However I cant believe you were quite so foolish and ill prepared as you were.

How on earth could you even contemplate such a trip with just system cases    ;)

Nice one :clap :clap

Thanks for the extra comments folks - I almost forgot I'd been anywhere!!

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't got round to doing a proper trip report yet, but there's a couple of million more photo's over here if you're interested.

Haha - I know what you mean - but actually it was a considered decision. I didn't want the weight, bulk or carrying capacity of TT boxes or whatever, and suspected that despite not being trendy, made of aluminium and costing the earth, that the lowly system panniers were probably up to the job. They pretty much were :thumb In fact I very nearly took soft luggage

Mental and bonkers. Let's have the full report ASAP.

Nice one

Inspirational pictures, well done on, really looking forward to the rest of the write up, well done. Martin.:thumb2

was this ever written up anywhere?

No. We started, and had every intention of finishing a proper write-up and making a decent website to host it all, but unfortunately normal life and a need to earn money took over and it hasn't happened as yet :(

The good news is that having been back for 8 months and realising that working is indeed rubbish, plans for a second trip somewhere crazy are afoot :eyebrow
