Nice little country road near Bathgate.

Thank goodness for a Keis vest. Gritters were dumping salt as I rolled into Banff at 6pm.

Great roads. Especially Blairgowrie to Braemar. At least the farmer’s muck was dry.

Planning the long way home tomorrow.

Just decided to pull the cover off and grab a final run when I woke up this morning to find we only had 2 dry days left in 2023.

And - I just wanted to roll my 2023 miles over to 5K. Just for fun.

Will take the old banger to 45K. Running like a sweetie.D255E7F4-0975-4D98-BA31-30F4FCC6959B.jpegACE1DBF9-645F-48F2-8FF1-2BE5D6520864.jpeg3733412E-0D7E-4018-B1DF-A5D74AACACE5.jpegF529F968-C7DC-4FE9-89F0-6DC9770DB45A.jpeg

I’m glad to be sheltering at home. Good luck to the 2 German riders I passed yesterday.

Yesterday morning turned out sunny. But oh so cold. Down to 2.5 and later up to a whole 12 degrees.

Traffic was light and having the roads mostly to myself made for a fantastic ride.

A round trip on mostly familiar roads.

I have family in Menstrie (not far) and attended high school in Stirling, but I live nearer these big boys.

And I’m also close enough to a prison to hear the evening chorus on a quiet evening.

Polmont/Redding?

I live in Maddiston, thought your route looked like it was heading home.

Todays task for the GS was to deliver some heavy-duty industrial equipment.
Sold a conduit bender and so save the hassle of packing it up and using a courier i delivered it myself as the buyer was only about 90 miles away.
Nice day for it.

Bike felt a bit lighter on the way back, 30kg is noticeable.

Was out and about on Tuesday managed 470miles.
Weather nice in morning up to Ullapool, Baltic only 1C going through Drumochter Pass at around 7pm ish.
Some tops had a hint of snow.
