"HOLY COW" i have just seen the weather report for tomorrow,
several centimeters of heavy rain forecast for the north west
now i dont mind the rain, but there are limits and with that in mind i wil be going to BMW southport instead for a few bits and bobs.
will reschedule the ride to the passes for Tuesday the 21st.
typical, of the two days planned my plans are shafted by the weather
lest keep fingers crossed for next tuesday then

rushy, i work 3 days on ,3 days off so get a good mix of days to play, i think the wife likes it like that, she never sees me!

yep, lets still meet at Charnock, unless someone has better local knowledge as i have only done this run once, hence why itching to do it again.
open to any suggestions if you know of a better route
at least it has to be drier than tomorrows forecast

what route u want to? i tend to do caton..devils..sedbergh...kirkby stephen.....then up a66 towards penrith and hartside cafe....or drop down towards windermere then kendal.....we can do hawes...

Hi I can do tuesday the 21st. I could meet you at the tickle trout petrol station Jct 31 M6 say 10:15/10:30 . It will be a good test for my bike as it will have been tuned the day before @ rockets of blackburn.

The "first services" is after horwich.The charnock services are on the M6 between J27-28..

ps im off next weekend if anyone is playing out.

I think you'll find Bolton West Services is the one just north of Horwich and its on the M61. It used to be Rivington Services and before that Anderton... Gotta love rebranding, it's still a dump.

ps im off next weekend if anyone is playing out.

I play out EVERY weekend Either on mi own, with anyone who'll let me tag along, or plot a route and invite peeps - depending on how I feel that weekend.

So, I'll keep an eye out for any open invitations on here. Went on my first UK GSer ride with How Much, and had a blast. If you're all as friendly as those guys on Weds, I might even subscribe to become a "tosser"

its Junction 31 on the M6 mate... (A59) meet at the petrol station marked "services" as you exit the roundabout at the end of the slip
