Just been down to Devon for 4 days, to Devon TRF's A2E event

Based at Woodbury, nr Exeter we had the chance to explore the fine lanes of East Devon

Devon is the best county for trail riding in England, having more lanes than any other

50 riders enjoyed the event and there were at least 5 UKGSER's attending (any others feel free to add your pics)

Some great riding, nadgery lanes which were challenging, super friendly walkers and lunch on the beach, splendid

First 'breakdown' was a Yam, but the KTM's lived up to their reputation and didn't disappoint :augie

Some with running faults and splutters and one of our group had his Freeride die completely, having to be recovered:blast

First tea stop was overlooking the sea, the splendid Devon end of Lyme Bay

The keen eyes will spot MMM (Rich) from here in the 3rd pic, who was tail ending another group, who we bumped into at the splendid viewing point over Sidmouth

The trusty 20 year old DR350SE didn't cough, splutter or miss a beat over 2 hard days

Lovely to see banks of Primroses in full bloom, you can't beat Britain in springtime

Lunch on the beach at Beer, life doesn't get any better

Not many pics from Sunday, as it was a bit 'full-on'

However I did manage a cream tea, well you can't go to Devon and not have some clotted cream on a scone, with a pot of finest English tea

I went to Royal Oak Fruit Farm, everything homemade and truly scrumptious, I recommend it - one of the finest tea rooms I have ever been to

Nice one JB, disappointed to have missed this.
I'm not surprised to hear about the broken down Yamaha.........

No. It's been to the local Yamaha dealer & another specialist in Lincoln who both failed to solve the problem despite the specialist having the bike for 6-8 weeks. It's also been to a local chap who's had a look and has no idea what is causing the issue.
I need to spend a bit of time trying to resolve things myself but haven't had 5 minutes to spare this year. Sarah & I are away over the next 2 weeks but after that intend knuckling down & getting it sorted as Paul & I are very keen to take you up on your kind offer. :thumb2

What's the problem/symptoms?

It just cuts out completely then starts again instantly. There's no pattern to it at all and it's very intermittent which makes it all the more difficult to diagnose. She also feels sometimes as if she's struggling for fuel/air mid range. Again, there is no pattern to this.

I need to spend a weekend trying to get to the bottom of it but just haven't had the time.

Looked like a great weekend out about in Devonshire JB :beerjug:

Glad you had a good weekend,us Debenshire boys like to keep you outsiders happy.
