My front brake reservoir is weeping fluid, it is not overfilled and the screws are tight - anyone know the cause and/or have a solution?
I know some have been replaced under warranty. Mine wept a bit when parked in sunshine, even after nipping up the screws. Since the 6000 mile service fluid change it has been ok. Martin at Robsons suggested it was not fluid leaking, but moisture from the upper part of the reservoir.

I had to clean mine up yesterday (hexhead) I noticed it after a ride out, there was a small puddle in the top of the rubber seal part I took it off wiped it all out not sure why they do it but had it on other bikes in the past too ???
You need to carefully take it off & clean it with tissue or lint free rags to dry it,the fluid won't go away tightening screws.
Yes that's the best way clean it up then dealer if it persists, mine looked like an insect splat but was around inside the handguard confirmed when I removed cap to investigate.
Brake fluid is hydroscopic so if a small amount expanded into area due to heat ? it could absorb water maybe why it builds up.
