Weird Gmail issue on laptop

For some bizarre reason my laptop is now spitting out my Gmail page. I click on the icon and get the correct url but only a blank screen appears! I've tried signing out of the account and signing in again. No difference!

I wonder if that’s an encryption issue? I only say because recently I received an attachment from my bank that was heavily encrypted & had similar results…

clear your cookies and cache then restart laptop, it's a generic fix for stuff like this. should work
