WEIRD !!!!!!!!!

I've just changed my BMW NAV 2 ( SP210 ) equivelant I think.

Plugged the leads in to the new unit and its taking in data
( routes, maps & waypoints ) from the mapsource on the computer from my previous unit disks.

I have not downloaded the new mapsouce disks from the new unit , they are still unpacked in the box.

Is this ok do you think!!!!!!

Have you actually tried using the data? (ie Try getting the unit to find somewhere & plan a route to it). Mapsource will upload to a CF card without a problem - but the unit won't be able to read the data unless the serial numbers match.

Y0U ARE RIGHT , I could download routes and waypoints but the map data has to be transferred into the unit for it to work correctly.
YOU have to put in the new unit un-lock code for it to function correctly
