Ive received a plastic thing together with the paperwork when I purchased the LC. Any idea what this is for? At the back of it there is a number, possibly a reference number for a key replacement for the ignition key?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371071578.544791.jpg

It's the now mandatory lucky charm. :aidan

if you kiss it three times a day your bike will only break down twice in the first month :augie

It is the Ring of Zarg....

You are now a dead man.

PS If it's not too late for you already, put your drinks tin in the recycling bin.

It's the new look Ecstasy tablet. Swallow it whole, preferably with alcohol .. :thumb

Its a power restricter for the WC engine you drop it in the tank then a instant 80hp less ideal for riders moving up from hexhead or oilhead

:blast It's a device to switch off all the electronic gadgetry for those dinosaurs who can't handle them. Many of whom post on this site:thumb

I think you may have won something! Duff Beer did a similar thing a little while ago by colouring the inside of the ring pull gold. Homer was sick as a dog for weeks with alcohol poisoning trying to find the winning can. :beerjug:
Just a thought.

It's just a plastic tag off the plastic tie that holds the plastic back up key - I think - I'll take a look at my stuff when I get home tonight.

Ok, this thread may be a wind up for the benefit of the our creative pals on this forum but just in case it isn't....the number on the back of the tag is your bike's ignition key ref number.

Thanks :-) Got to research a bit more before I start asking stupid questions in the forum

Or call your local dealer. You know, the fellow you paid a premium price to for a premium product and service. They can, should and will answer all questions, particularly ones like: 'What's this plastic taggy-thing, mate?'

Though it has been a useful thread, as Engineer has learned what it is, too. It will save him guessing next time and be a real boon when he loses a key.

PS There is still an outside chance that it is the Ring of Zarg. Take care and avoid low buildings.

Hahaha I've just read my previous post and you are right, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever - I'm on my iPhone and type on two different languages...

What I was trying to say is that most questions asked in this forum could be found on 'google' but its much more fun to post a threat.
