Got myself a x reg 650 GS GD, can't ride it though for 4 weeks as I have a broken wrist :tears

Private purchase so I've noticed a couple of things since I bought it that I hope someone can clear up.

It was sold as a GS GD (factory lowered) and is described as this model on the V5 although I have noticed the front wheel is 19" diameter measuring from inside rim to rim. Is this right ? I thought Dakars had a 21" front, will this have been changed when it was lowered ?

Having read the manual do I set up suspension for a GS or a Dakar if it has been lowered ?

Following instruction manual the ABS doesn't seem to be able to be de-activated ( for off roading) the light should be flashing when de-activated but it doesn't ?

Lastly there seems to be a gap of about an inch between seat and tank is this normal, has it got an aftermarket seat on, how do I tell, ( it says I can't post attachments, so I can't put a pic up )

Cheers for any advice

Well you won't be able to post attachments without subscribing - costs £12.00. I'm afraid thats the only question I can help you with.

Ah, yes, think I may have been told that before, suppose I best get round to doing that now
