After a short ride this afternoon my 06 R1200GS was not running correctly. It was most noticable at tickover when the bike was very lumpy and definitely not correct.
I rang my dealer BVM in Stroud, Mark tells me to bring the bike up and they will have a look for me.
I arrive at BVM at 4pm by 5pm on on my bike riding home with the issue sorted.
The computer indicated a faulty lamda sensor, this was not a stock item so they took one off of a new bike which was in its crate to put on my bike.
This is brilliant service in my books.
