just a quick thanks to omias ( tim ) for arranging the air ambulance charity run , had a great weekend, with omias and p.w :thumb2 , although it was abit painful :D ,Tim I'll get my sponsorship money collected up and sent over .

anyone who hasnt already sponsored one of us you can still do so !!!

Second that Rob, great weekend with good company.

Tim did a great job of organising the whole thing for a worth cause.

Perhaps we can encourage more next year to try and up the total amount raised.

As far as the weekend was concerned the weather gods were kind appart from the putting up of tents at Ynys Mon on Anglesey where it was blowing a whooley.
Much tittering from the motorsport crowd watching the attempts at erecting the various tents.

The mileage was in the region of 650-690 miles dependant on whose trip meter you looked at but it was sore parts all round regardless.

Happily do it again next year with you Tim and perhaps we can meet Tossers on the way round to lift the numbers. Appreciate that not everbody can commit for the whole thing but it would be great to see friendly faces over the weekend.

Rob hope everthing works out for you and your family with your life in the sunshine but you now you'd be welcome next year if you feel the need to visit the land of rain and wind :)

Ta very muchly!

Your both very welcome boys, and thank you both for joining in.
The route turned out to be quite a good one, plenty of variation and some stunning scenery - although my arse is still tender! Quite a few places i'd like to ride out to some other time.
Im still trying to gather donations and will probably send them in to the service around mid month. It'll be nice to see what our combined efforts have raised and it'll give a target to beat next year. Speaking of next year, I may well be living up around the Notts. area as my wife wants to move back near her mum and elderly gran - So with Robjet in Oz and me up there I think the baton may well have to be passed onto you PW to turn this run into an annual event! It could also have a subtitle,
"LongWALESround - Its longer and harder than you think missus"
or
"LongWALESround - Get arse ache for charity"
As an alternative we could see how many people we can fit inside your Air Ambulance tee-shirt with you PW!

Thanks again for taking part boys, :beerjug:
Good luck in Oz Rob - try and avoid the bitey critters! and hopefully we'll get in another run before you ship out.
