Today I signed on the dotted line for an 'approved used' 2012 4k twincam GSA, trading in my venerable 1100. I'll be sad to see her go after many years of ownership and she owes me nothing but it was the right time I think.

I'll be stripping off any good bits it has before handing it to the dealer - they'll appear in FS&W as and when I've worked out what I've got.

I'll have to check in to the hex head section and see what's what :)
 
That 1100 shyte was always in bits anyway.... :D

It's in substantially very nice condition but there are a couple of possible niggles that made me happier to just part ex it. I've always been a bit of a wuss when it comes to selling older bikes privately - I always worry that something may go wrong with it and I feel responsible...

I'll finish up taking stuff of it early next week and put everything up in FS&W :thumb2

Hi Nick,
Yes I'll be selling front and rear Hyperpro shocks (3000 mile old, progressive springs, small load uprate to the rear to reflect that I do a lot of two up touring - although it's fine solo unloaded - still needs a bit of preload). I haven't even removed them or come up with a price yet but I was messaged a while ago from a forum member who asked to have first refusal. If he doesn't go for it, I'll put them up for sale.

I know - looks better in the flesh but wouldn't have been my first choice as far as seats go. But I'm bleedin' skint now so it'll have to wait ;)

Hi Nick,
Yes I removed the Hyperpro shocks but a couple of people have already asked for first refusals. If they don't go for it, I'll let you know.
