After the resounding success of the last Welsh raid (thread here), it could be time for a rematch!

I'm happy to organise the hotel (the same 'Fawlty Towers' as we used last time - unless I can find better) and we have the route captured on GPS.

So who's up for this - meeting at the venue on a Friday lunchtime - a limber up across the local golf course, then a bimble around the big loop on the Saturday - head home on Sunday morning.

And your preferred date?

Greg

PS I'm sorry guys, but this is pogo-sticks only!

I'll be sorry if I have to learn to navigate to my room using a new set of stuffed animals :D

All weekends in June are (currently) free in my diary :thumb

I'm new to pogo-sticks, but will have a couple of TRF runs and enduros under my belt by the summer...

Sorry to be so naive, but I take it "pogo sticks" means my XR250 rather than the GS? In which case count me in depending on dates.... :bounce1

Greg, if you are considering going back to "Bates" hotel -you should check with them which dates they have available for a group of riders. Sometimes they're fully booked with other groups.

HTH.

Don't forget that 12-14th May also clashes with Clive's Ridgeway outing. :mmmm

I've shot an e-mail to this hotel to see if they'd take us!

Otherwise, it'd have to be Fawlty Towers!

That looks miles better than the last place. Do you know if it has secure parking? - and, do they do a group discount?

.....Greg... why didya have to use THAT photo

...looks like everyones up for the 16-18 june, that'll do me :D

Falty towers was OK, least they didn't mind a load of muddy bikers trolling about, and the gear was safe... :)

OK folks, this is a definite 'goer'!

We'll be staying at the Brynafon Country Hotel about 700 yards outside Rhayader. There are just 10 beds available and I've got them all reserved. Rooms are approx £33 per person per night B&B based on two or three sharing a room. Bike parking will be in the courtyard in the centre of the hotel. They may even have bike cleaning kit available by then.

Friday 16th June to Sunday 18 June 2006

Confirmed so far are:

  1. Me
  2. Martin
  3. Clive
  4. Squadron Leader
  5. Blue Sweeper
  6. Battyman
  7. Simon
  8. Eddy802

Just two places up for grabs (unless you want to find a bunk in another establishment).

I'll need a £25 cheque deposit from each of you.
