After a great trip last year, going back again ,heading up to the west coast via galloway forest , camping first night , then onto dunnoon, glencoe , on to skye , Harris , Lewis that kinda idea...
Dates are 2nd to 11th June , , I will be camping and hosteling if weather is really bad:thumb
I will be on my tenere so not going too fast :thumb, slow and enjoy the scenery.
If any one is heading up that way or fancies tagging along, cool,
See my post for last years trip for some pics....

scotland on a GS

Paul
I enjoyed the trip last year i hope you have the same fine weather .I have sold the G S after 13 years and purchased a Triumph scrambler added a few bits its a blast to ride have not missed the GS once but only get a 110 mile from a tank full so not great for touring. Will do some touring on the RS once its ready ,will have to be at a slower pace. Also managed a trip to the US on a rented gs 1200 ,7000 miles that's a lot of fuel stops.! Have a great time RP

Thanks chaps
Weather will be good hopefully , the looooooooooooooong ride up not so on the M6........
Rich , the triumph looks cool as does the RS , I got myself a kawasaki W650, was thinking of going on that , thats a 110 miles range too so lots of stops,
Cheers Baz , What u got planned this year then ... with the lady :)
Rich , what company did you use for bike rental in USA ....
Ok back to the thread
:)

Best of luck on the trip mate ! Couldn't have chosen a better machine. The Tenere is a great bike. Once north of Preston, I get of the M6 and stick to the old A6. Great scenery!! Post some pics and a ride report if poss.
