Just in case anybody else receives it, spoof virus thing that blocks out your screen and repeatly pops up demanding 100 pounds in fines for "violating british law" and visiting child porn sites , porn .... and extreme sites ???
Very annoying to get rid, plus lots of dodgy sites offering free down loads to remove it which appear to all part of the same scam.
I just started computer in " safe mode " and set a new restore point..
Hopefully thats it.
