The other week I had my GS out in the wet for the first time and noticed that the back of my thighs and arse were soaking, never really thought much of it, but then last night the same again.

Seems I'm getting spray up from somewhere around the back of the hip area, what am I missing here  or what can prevent this happening ??

My GSA WC was the same load of crap and spray thrown forward and upwards onto the shock, front pegs and my legs, cured by a Machine Art Mudslinger which redirects the crap downwards

As Neil W says...Mudsling cured that for me on an older GS, but fitted mudguard to current one and again , no wetness, and I ride all year round in sunny Helensburgh!!

It's an age thing, time you got some of these. As recommended by many on the Airhead section :D

In addition to the mudsling, there are some frame infill panels that prevent the wet arse syndrome. I have both fitted to my GS and much better...

Hugger will fix and gives an excuse to remove the fugly spade behind the rear wheel. Wunderlich carbon job has done the job for 10 years on my GS

All these newby questions, you could have asked me on Sunday .

Or used the search function.

The hugger alone will not fix wet arse on a LC GS, the in fill panels are needed as well to get a 90% fix. I don't know how good the mudsling is.

Gortex trousers work for me........ But your right, the rear tyre does throw up water............ But only on the throttle side for me.

Just looked at the mudsling on Nippy Normans. £129 for a piece of moulded plastic! WTF.

@John Bailey. They saw you coming.

I have mudsling and just bought infills. To those of you who bought these why modifications did you do to make it all fit?
