What’s a G/S rear wheel worth?

Hi folks

I have a good quality rear G/S hub on a slightly tatty but sound wheel. I need rid of it, checked with Motorworks who would charge about £400 but have none.

What’s the view on its value?

I'm no expert but a bit more info may elicit a more accurate reply. e.g. does it have brake discs/ABS ring/tyre? I'm guessing it is a spoked wheel and a picture paints a 1000 words.

Those things are like hens teeth, or were anyway.

I think the drums fail mostly and you can't buy new ones.

Drum is sound. About 0.5mm lip is all

If I was looking for one, I'd think the M'works price as fair for such a hard to obtain part. I think I paid about £250 for an R1100GS wheel, which is a significantly less rare beast.
