Just completed a service on my 1100 GS and WOW what a difference. Carried out rocker endfloat and tappet adjustments as per St. eptoes thread, strugled to get tappet gaps correct on right hand cylinder only to find I had overdone the endfloat and the rockers were not moving freely(only took an hour to work this out...doh!). Fitted new plugs & filters, then off for a blast. What can I say, a totally different bike. All the low down sluggishness has gone and a whole load of extra torque has come from somewhere. Brill. Just need to balance the carbs now to finish off. Have looked at the threads and thought about the home made manometer at one end of the scale, to guages on ebay to being quoted £50/60 at a local bike shop. Seems a bit steep to me so am on the look out for a local tosser in the somerset area who may fancy a bit of carb balancing practice just to finish off the 'word according to St. eptoe'. Any takers??? A bit cold down here in sunny somerset but just on me way out for another blast!! Happy days.

Hi Ian,
Any chance of some photos and details please, thanks. :thumb2

Happy New Year,

Mick

piece of wood.. length of tubing and some 2 stroke oil. - much easier with a decent length of tube - 30' is ideal.
