What are they doing?

They got pissy when I told them, 'bollox I ain't paying for it any longer'!

I fell out with my bank over bank charges, we agreed to disagree over the monies owed, I paid them way less than I actually owed,

I see a pattern here:D

you do seem to have been unlucky with the BMWs you've owned, I remember your 1150:augie why not just give them a polite call and see what they want to do with the bike:thumb

Luck of the draw I guess. It's the third beemer I've had, 1150adv was shite but the 12adv was a peach!

Might go back to a Gixxer 750...:bounce1

I remember:blast

Dirty Dog your name is appropriate why not pay your bills or sell the bike and settle the debt. Its acts like yours that cause trouble for ethical people.

You can blame it on the forks but everyone else is happy.

I visit customers businesses at 6 in the morning with a baseball bat and recover the goods. Lucky you dont owe me!!!

Go buy the book "who moved my cheese" get your running shoes on and get out of debt!

Lots of love,

xxx

Good old days :rob , would make assholes think twice before signing the doted line .

David James...Valiant? Selling it? Did I mention selling?...no.....valiant....no....you dick, stop making assumptions. You're obviously lucky enough not to find yourself in a financial 'downer', and on the flip side, probably wouldn't have big enough balls to make a stand against 'the machine' for not being happy with a sub-standard product....:censor:

Cheers for the reply Andy, I'm not going to be giving them any money whatsoever. This has been going on now for over 18 months, typical BMW, total waste of feckin time!

Storage costs? That has crossed my mind, this is probably now equal to what I owe them...:thumb

BTW; the voluntary termination was agreed over 12 months ago?!

You made no mention of the VT in you first post, so to me it read like you couldn't afford to pay the finance and then used build quality as an excuse so you could spit your dummy.

I really don't give a flying fuck about your financial status.

Jog on.:D

hey DD

Serious I'll give you 8k for it, but dont tell me it has outstanding HP

Job done and your not skint anymore :thumb2

............ and before anyone states this thread can be used in court - I will write LIV and Arse in the same sentence and the thread will be removed :thumb2

Hey Christine, you got it wrong. I'm the bastard son of Proff...

Oh David, 'jog on'???...You've been watching to much TV......stupid boy!

And unfortunately, the HP had been going wrong from day one. It had a new pair of forks which fecked up yet again, along with a bell housing oil seal, side stand switch, 2 tank senders etc etc. I had politely been in contact with BMW UK who refused to do anything about it, and told me that the movement in the fork legs were within tolerance....total bollox was that! I don't see why I should have parted with my money for a product that was not fit for it's intended purpose! Obviously you do.....ponse!

And as for tough boy 'Wings' with the base ball bat...I'm quaking in my feckin slippers...:D Oh, and btw, this is the UK, we don't shoot people for speaking out or looking at them the wrong way on the bus.....prick!

I'm in a similar boat but I had to chase BMW to take the bike from me :blast

Once the bike was taken I receive a letter two weeks later asking if I would like to renew my warranty on the bike :blast

I was amazed that the letter got to me because they had the correct name, post code and house number but the street was wrong as was the country. Instead of being in Cheshire they had me in West Lothian

So when that dick Tony Jakeman pretended like he didn't know when I'd met and talked to him on 3 previous occasions he was perhaps right.

I didn't get to the halfway point on the finance and I've had the odd letter and a call but they really don't appear to be that arsed.

It makes no odds now anyway cos I'm going down the bankruptcy route.

No little fishies will be hurt... just big fishies like credit card companies and bmw :augie

Sorry to hear that mate, to much worry over financial shit ain't worth it, I've seen people go to an early grave from it! Just ride the storm, it won't last forever...:thumb

I know what you're saying about the finance side of BM, they're feckin useless! I can't believe for a company of this size they're so disorganised, shocking! Well actually I can, if the bike build quality, re-calls and warranty claims are anything to go by....:augie

Good luck mate, hope it all goes well...:thumb

Same to you DirtyDog I hope things are brighter on the flip side and I'm sure they will be. Like you I wont be losing any sleep over this. The banks and credit card companies don't worry about the individual so why should we worry about them. They cannot even be arsed to get a human being to call me up. Now they are using automated computer voices to make the call. "Could Mr *** **** please call such and such about an important matter" (in robot speak)! Errrrr no :dabone
