What is the difference between these "offroad" boots?

I heard the terms like:
Trials boots
ENduro boots
Motocross boots
off road boots

What's the difference? I suspect not much for someone who is only buying them for the way they look :D

these look good. Would go well with my new jacket :D

Motocross boots have smooth soles for easy sliding in the dirt. Trials and Enduro boots have knobbly soles to help you drag the bike out of the mud.

You can wear them all day and still walk in trials boots! Try a few pairs of the Alpine Stars Tech boots on - then try a pair of their 'No Stop' Trial boots :thumb2 All the pose without the pain in your toes :D

The sole on the Sidi's you like Novice look the same as the sole on a Sidi Courier, in fact the boot looks like a variation on the Courier boot, and if that is the case I've always found them to be very comfortable both on and off the bike:thumb2

At least when they`re black leather you can put a bit of kiwi on & polish them up. I should think those will look a bit skanky in a short time :(

Not you....the jacket you wazzock....

oh .. :( I thought you were admiring my handsome looks :D

The jacket is called Dainese Superfly and I got it from Silvermachine at the London bike show earlier in the year. They do two colours. This tan one and a black one. The black is kinda of "vintage distressed" black, if you know what I mean.

They also do the same cut of jacket in a textile material but I don't know what it is called.

Tom to get back on track

Trials boots do not have a heel, like the ones in your photo, MX and Enduro boots have a heel but the soles are as Phil says above.:thumb2
