See my just posted rant about crap H&B quality.
I considered SWM or H&B. Went for H&B as they dont use the sump rubbers as impact supports, are ok to leave on to oil change and the horizontal front tubes are flat, thus allowing a leg rest (Sloping on the SWM bars).
I too put out a thread asking the same question as you and most folks said SWM or H&B. I know the BMW ones don't protect the heads, even at a stationary fall.
Me thinks I may have boobed though
You did boob - take the hit and buy SW Motech - also work with the BOS exhaust and the H & B don't.
