What do I need

I removed a Touratech locking and cabled sat nav Mount inc the zumo 660 unit from my GS which I gave to my son for him 990 adventure.

Where and by what means is it best to locate this on his KTM and is there anything odd or peculiar I need to know about wiring or connecting up to his bike so he can get the benefit.

KTM sell a nice solid mount that fits just above the speedo. It’s made by touratech. But think KTM sell it also.

It’s a good solid unit.
You will need to drill a hole or two in the black panel.

Couple of pairs of leads behind the head lamp. One is a switch live. Other is a permanent live.

Think the switched live is the preferred option.
