What's your opinion of these? They were suggested as an alternative to the ProWinter.

I have a pair of the earlier Atlantis gloves.

In nearly four years they have remained totally water-proof.

I don't think that they are a true winter glove, they do not have the bulk but with a pair of silk under-gloves, they have been warm enough for me to date. On their own, they are a good all year wet weather glove.

They are a good compromise between warmth & bulk, giving plenty of feel and don't leave you feeling that you are wearing boxing gloves.

One of the few decent gloves left on the market to include a wiper blade on the index finger.

If you put a wet hand into the glove, removing it doesn't turn the lining inside-out.

The cuffs are long enough but not too bulky to get inside a jacket sleeve.

I have a pair of Alpinestars SPS which are my regular gloves when it's not pouring with rain or freezing cold outside! Given the choice of the ProWinter or Atlantis 2 gloves what would be peoples preference?

I can get a great deal on the Atlantis 2's which makes the price of both broadly similar (20% off PW and 40% off Atlantis 2's).

I have some Atlantis 2's and find them to be 100% waterproof, although quite cold gloves. Even though I bought a fairly tight fit, I find they tend to bunch up across the callouses on your palms (at the base of you fingers), which is a little uncomfortable. The visor wiper works well, and the quality seems beyond criticism. I'd buy 'em again,

I have a pair and I think they're underated .... I like 'em.

Probably the best gloves I've had.... for sure they get my :thumb2

Thank you all for taking some time to let me know your opinions. I eventually decided to buy a pair of Atlantis 2's and will be collecting them next Saturday from John Clark BMW (Dundee) at the same time as I pick up a G650Xmoto. I should be able to tell you exactly what I think by the time I get home to Cardiff :D

I'm also hoping that the G650 will be a good compliment to my 1200GSA, really looking forward to the ride back.
