What fuel for your GS(A)

Dan

Halfords 20/50 for classic cars. £13.99 for 5 litres from your local Halfords store.

Works great for tractor engines like ours. Just had a service on my 1200 and the BMW mechanic reckoned it was just fine so sod the Castrol at £6 plus per litre.:D

Hope the airhawk worked........

It worked fine for me, although I was just curious to see what was in the link :augie unfortunately nothing apart from a Trojan Horse  is in this link though!

I'm currently using my wifes work computer, as my PC is now capot due to clicking on that link!!!:spitfire :spitfire :spitfire :spitfire :spitfire

my AV/firewall must have blocked it :)

95/98 - so what!

my dealer also reccommended 98 - allegedly "it'll be smoother and give better economy"

what a load of rubbish! :blast

I've run it on both and there's no difference in performance, smoothness or economy - apart from the 5p a litre obviously

I have found it slightly more economical when using BP ultimate than ordinary BP unleaded, now whether it is worth it financially is a different matter.
