What happens if....

You fit the high compression pistons from an R1100S to an RT engine...Will it suddenly make a load more horsepower? Comparing the Parts Fiches at Max motorcycles.com it seems that the heads , valves , valve-springs and cams are all the same... Has anyone tried this before?

I thought the cams were different I must admit. I presume you would need the ECU too, the gearing would be different too and you've got more weight remember so you might not get what you expect. The R1100s isn't all that more powerful I reckon either. I've got a spare ECU if you want to try though
