Not buying a new helmet, just curious what you lot use. My current helmet is a diamond white arai rx7 gp; this lid has far exceeded my expectations.

Main Helmet is an Arai Astro with a Progrip insert. Can`t fault it apart from the crappy visor attachment mechanism. I can`t see how the geezer on the youtube vids does it so smoothly. The whole thing must be covered in AC50 or something slippy!
I have just bought a 2nd hand Tour X and look forward to trying it out when it warms up a bit. I don`t fancy it in cold weather due to the big space for air to get under the chin-piece and up the front.
I also have a Caberg Justimssimo, which is OK but on along trip hurts my forehead.

caberg trip, but each to there own,
everyone has different shaped heads

Most miles are in a Caberg Justissimo, as a glasses wearer its superb, inner sun shade so no shades needed, no need to remove specs to put it on, it is noisy though, when GS posing I also have a BMW Enduro lid, light quiet, a nice helmet.

I am limited in my choice 'cos I've got a fat 'ead! (XXXL)

Got a Held Takato Enduro helmet (excellent) with autocom fitted.

A Shoei XR1000 in black, v comfortable, possibly a little loose.

An HJC Half helmet for the cruiser I haven't got anymore:blast

I'm lookin for a flip up helmet in XXXL with built in retractable sun visor. Tried the system 6 BMW but my chin got in the way!

Looking at a Scorpion EXO 900 Flip, anyone got any experience of these???:nenau

I used the Caberg Justissimo for years then bought a Schuberth C3, much prefer the Schuberth.

I had a Caberg Justissimo and thought that it was lethal in heavy rain when more water ended up on the inside of the visor than the outside. I know thay Voyager had the same problem.

Now got a BMW System 5 which I had doubts about before buying it but allowed myself to be suckered by the "its BMW so it must be good" mentality. Really can't recommend it for use in the rain when water leaks past the seal and drips onto my nose.

When you stop in heavy rain and lift the visor the V shaped seal funnels the rain straight onto your nose and the microphone if you're wired for a phone/coms.

What a masterpiece:)

Do you have any problems with it steaming up? I keep meaning to look, but whenever I use it I forget and then fall asleep....:green gri

Arai Viper GT.......... Very comfy indeed!!!

I was going to buy a Shark RSR2 Indy because it looks the dogz bollox and is nice and quite comfy, but the Arai is just soooooooo plush and lovely, (even though the visor mists with the Pinlock fitted), that I think my next helmet will be an Arai Chaser :thumb
