Always worried about wearing ordinary sunglasses with an open face lid, especially a pair with interchangeable lenses. I wonder just how well they will protect the eyes in the event of a small stone hitting them. To be honest I suspect the eye will be lost.
I wear a schuberth J1. Comfortable, cool as in temperature, and reassuringly expensive if ever called upon to do its job.

Premier Jet helmets look OK too.

SE... Davida looks good on you. Sometimes they look like real "spacehopper-on-head" contraptions but you have a Davida shaped head so it all looks in proportion. Davida is a superb helmet, well made. Get the leather face mask over a silk black balaclava ......... keeps you warm(ish) ad the flies out.

A standard "non-fancy graphics" fullface looks OK too... black or white. It's never a good thing to look like one of the clones .... or those sad Harley people at the dealerships with their "branded" clothing and coffee.

Would agree.

Get a set of WWI aviator goggles ! Not WWII as in Spitfire; must be WWI or true Brooklands retro. They work and if you can get the right fit setup, will protect your eyes from fast moving small objects.

Fitted a tinted visor due to the luvvly hot and sunny weather we have.

Oakley do a pair of sunnies called the Windjacket. It has a gasket that keeps out the flies and wind, and interchangeable lenses. You can get them fitted with prescription jobs too and they'll still be interchangeable.

Oakley test all their sunglasses to beyond industrial safety glass protection levels. They even shot them with ball bearings to test that the impact not only doesn't smash the lense but that the impact is distributed across the whole frame to prevent localised pressure.

Rip the Jet Visor off it, and a can of Matt Black Halfords paint... Jobs a carrot...

Why worry about Safety as you'll have a 25% chance of tearing your nose and chin off when they hit the road anyway.....
