I have a Davida (coolest), Arai (most expensive) and a Shark Evoline 1. The Davida was great with goggles but it still hurts when bugs/rain hits you at 90mph... Just come back from Spain/France and the Shark was great - most of the time in open-face mode until Sunday morning when the last 2.5 hours up to Calais was in torrential thunderstorms.... full face mode kept the worst of it off...

The Evoline is the heaviest but I have to say that I'm sold on the flexibility it offers (though will still be using the Davida for shorter trips in guaranteed fine weather)

... why not try a Roof Roadster, but don't buy one on-line as they do come up in odd sizes

Both my African trips were made using one, and am currently using my third when on the scoot.

That is a wicked lid im loving that,whats it like comfort wise buddy?.......

At first it was comfortable but after an hour or so I had some pressure on the top of my forehead. We all have different shaped heads so it may not be the same for everyone but I solved it by peeling the fabric liner off which is glued on incidentally and then paring away some of the polystyrene. About 4mm in depth and 5cm wide. That did the job and was happy with that.

It really is a fair weather helmet (by fair weather I mean no rain as I did wear it on a winter trip to Austria also). I had ridden from the UK to Austria and back with it and it was fine. The fasteners rusted a little that hold the clip on face guard and I found dirt got between the clear visor and the tinted visor and scratched it.

despite all these drawbacks it works well with just the clear visor or a pair of sunglasses. There is good room around the ears for headphones etc and in my view looks the bollox.
