i'm going to order the bmw enduro sump guard for my 09 gsa. it seems there are 4 bolts to remove the original, 2 standard hexagon bolts and 2 torx bolts. i need to order some female torx sockets, what size ???
what size torx socket ?

My 2005 GS just has 10 & 13mm hex heads.
I have 2 female sockets in my toolbox atm so I can tell you a T50 male bit fits inside E10 female & a T40 male fits inside a E8 female. So if you can match a torx bit to your bolt & it matches a 50 or 40 job's a goodun.
