So I fitted the Baglux tank harness that I bought from Dirtydog and stood back to admire my handiwork (I'm easily impressed and basically a numptie for even this level of working on a bike)!

I looked down and noticed the Wosname (pictured) lying on the floor. I can't seem to find where it's come from and I'm petrified it's important

HELP!

Are there press studs on the bag or harness?

I'm with Phil on this one. Definately not the bleed nipple cover (not pointy enough). I'd go for one of the backs to the press stud fasteners on the bag or ya jacket or similer. Fire the bike up and take it for a ride. If ya get further than 10 miles you'll be fine
Of course if you bought it from DirtyDog then it could be a miniture butt plug that he forgot to take out of the bag!!! I wouldn't worry but if you've used your hands to pick it up, I would go and get a tetanus injection just in case.

Correct, look under the beak towards the tank and it’s on the left hand side, coverers the brake pipe-fitting thing that the dealer uses.

Flipfly, there was some brake fluid residue in it which, after your butt plug comment, caused me to wash my hands a few times

Definitely weren't one of mine...way way to small!
