When I started trials again a couple of months back I bought a pair of Diadora Stone II boots & got to say I think they're crap. Went to town on them with the Nikwax from new & after every ride & they still fill up with water. They have a "waterproof" inner sock which certainly isn't totally waterproof either.
Also ended up with a badly injured foot after last weekends trial - ok I shouldn't have fallen off
but they didn't seem to have offered that much protection.
Can any of you trials riders out there recommend me a good boot - not bothered about a waterproof liner as I'm happy to wear sealskinz - but my walking boot experience tells me that with judicious applications of Nikwax I should be able to keep them waterproof for the days riding anyway - if they're of good enough quality in the first place.
Thanks
