What tyre pressures should I be running?

I run bridgestones....was following BMW recommendation and getting significant squaring on back tyre.....asked the question at Buckley Tyres to be told that manufacturers (tyre not bike) know best. 36/42 was the verdict and I haven't looked back since.....better feel when ridden hard, better profile wear, appears longer mileage also......

36/42 as per tyre manufacturer recommendations seems to work well. Feels marginally sharper in the bends but that may just be my imagination. Also now use the electronic tyre pressure sensor readings to get my pressures right rather than my hand gauge as per instruction manual. Yes the pressures fluctuate a tiny bit when riding despite their pressure compensation ability but in a short space of time I've grown to really like this feature on the bike.

:topic It's v easy to clock up the miles on these bikes without thinking about it. 4k miles in 3 months and that's just pottering around locally. It just constantly says 'ride me', so I do :)
