Thanks to BHT for the new Brick section :thumb2

Let's get this baby populated- List what ya got and so on.

I've got a K100RS, 1989 on a G plate, which used to be a St.Eptoe loaner, so like the college tart, I bet a LOT of you guys have ridden her :D

Smoooooth.....(Smoother than my only previous 4 potter, a 550 Zephyr) and although it's taken me a few weeks to get used to that really linear power delivery, I'm liking it a lot now :thumb2

Will get some pics up soon, probably as a 'before' and 'after' type thread, as although I'm going to be using this as a daily winter commuter, I'm going to give it some TLC because it's cosmetically as challenged as the Hunchback of Notre Dame after ten round with 'The Hulk':D

See?

I knew this should have been named the Brick Layers or something. It's already being invaded by owners of the JapoGerman stuff.

Bloody Wapping'll be here in a moment with his BMW 1600Wing. :blast

:D

C'mon Uncle Grouchy........You have more knowledge and experience of bricks than most, get your list out :thumb2

PS you divisive git....the section is only an hour old and you've already set up the equivalent of an airhead v oilhead chasm :D

Had a go on St. Eptoes current loaner K100 brick yesterday. Realised that it was the first 4-cylinder bike I've ever ridden in nearly 20 years of riding... :eek

This is my little collection, the K is a 16v model with a Remus system and Harmann chip. I have changed the bars to those from a K75C and they make a hell of a difference for comfort and control.

Really? That's interesting because I always found the K1/RS 16-Valve bars the most comfortable on any BMW I've ridden.

My K75S has K75C bars. I'm tempted to fit a pair of K75S bars that I picked-up on eBay for 99p but I'm also holding-out, looking for K1/RS 16-Valve bars.

The K75C bars are the same width and rake as the K75S bars, just about 2 inches taller. It was the rake and width of the K1/RS 16-Valve that I found better.
