Thinking of selling my Pd but the prices seem to be quite high in the Stealers.
Is £4500 a fair price for a clean tidy PD with 37 K on it?
Andy

I paid £1000 for mine six years ago but that was exceptionally cheap and after a few weeks riding, I realised the bike needed a complete restoration, which nevertheless I enjoyed doing. They seem to be peaking at £5000 or £6000 right now but really it's all down to what you are prepared to pay for one. They are getting on for 25yrs old now so 37,000 miles is nothing (if it's correct - the speedo might have been replaced from a kph to mph one - mine was).

I think you're in the ball park. If it was very, very tidy I'd agree with Paul Rochdale. If restored to 'as new' quite possibly 10-12K.

Dave Panic yee not Old Son look at his username ??? Says it all really

It would need to be mint and absolutely pristine original to fetch that and then of course its the finding of the blind person with the big wallet or purse to fund it too!

Or as we say around here Put it in the Shop with the Big Windows so the salespeople can see the next idiot walking down the street

10 -12 k are you mad

Well I think I'm going to put it on Ebay for £4500.

Just reading some old posts. It’s amazing how much the values of ‘desirable’ airheads have increased in a relatively short timeframe. The PD on eBay just sold for £10500 and probably needs another £10k throwing it’s direction to make it beautiful. I wonder how long it will continue for and whether the values will crash when the petrol runs out (or more likely we get banned from using it)…….

This guy is offering old Ural outfits too. It's the "Depending on spec" that gets the questions going. Seems like he's makeing them to order.
