What's in a name?

Seeing as 'Toilet' is looking rather popular, and despite what I said earlier, why not call this forum 'Toilet Talk' ? :D :augie

that is very nearly worth revising my previous post for :D

As it will be a while before I get one as my GSA is only 14 months old, toilet sounds good, or commode to be a little refined.

But of course when I get one, that will change and I will be calling it Elsie Tanner. :D

Since the next version will no doubt be 100% water cooled, maybe this one should be the Semi-Wethead:D

Find some fecker that'll respoke/true your wire wheels.

:kissy2

Easier to do than restraighten your cast wheels:augie

Never been a problem on either of my 1150s when off roading because it was built to be used off road:D

Valid point: I have had to replace my cast wheels every time the road surface has deteriorated on the way to Sainsbury's.

Shame on you BMW for suddenly making crap motorbikes :rob

"FFS wish i was selling those"....... suspect this is the name given to it by salemen who now have to convince people to spend there hardearned on explorer/crosstourer/xtz1200ect ect, not a job i would fancy.

I'm sure it's a great roadbike, but I still can't accept that they have made any concessions to the original concept of dual purpose machine. Cast wheels on off road bikes, never really caught on have they?

They stick em on the gsa so why not the standard gs:nenau

Did I see at the bike show that they actually have a more off road biased toilet? Does that have cast or spoked wheels? Just looked it up, the enduro does have spokes:clap
Shame that most will be specced as gay road bikes:blast

Much like a rangerover on 22s with low profile tyres, embarrassing!

Going by many of the already banal threads on the model and the repetitive "I've done 50 miles on it and it’s the best thing I've ever ridden ever ever ever ever cwoss my heart and hope to die" threads...

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzz-ed Head" seems appropriate.

Snore :D

Because they're heavier and therefore slow the rate of turn-in, more expensive to make, harder and more expensive to maintain and harder to clean

It's nothing like a Range Rover with 22" wheels. Many of us don't have anywhere to ride off road. Over the years, I can count the times I've taken a GS off road on the fingers of one hand. That's not the point of having one. It's still quite possibly the best bike there is for riding narrow, twisty, broken and rutted B roads and unclassified goat tracks.

Yep, gonna scare the pants off me compared to 189bhp at the rear wheel hyabusa that weighed in at around 190kg (the fastest missile I've ever ridden). You do realise that the lc is like all other GSs in that they are underpowered, overweight lumps of germanic sensibleness :blast

If I'm wrong why did they choose an hp4 for wsb not a toilet:D

If i wanted a plastic rocket I'd have gone to ann summers:D
We can immediately sense the countless hours you've spent riding the LC :type
