also

new seat and refurbished engine bars not pictured as been raining here all day:(

whoops

nearly in trouble there with a, Smith isn't it?
2003(November)

can i become a "Smith" too?

then maybe i also will get £500 more for my bike!:pullface

If its got full history and panniers its worth £5000 all day long.
Wait a month put it on Ebay and it will get strong interest from Europe at sensible money.

service history

its been serviced back to front by the x head technician(in spain) of Amsterdam motorad and Charles Hurst BMW in Belfast assure me that before that it was serviced by them- on schedule-but are sticky about sending me anything. What can i do? Any ideas? The bike ran awesomely back from Spain, over 1000 miles, and since then i've added a Wunderlich Kahedo seat, tobinators and re did the engine bars like new. I'm interested in this swap with the R1150 RT on here but the chap is worried with the lack of history. Does it really matter when it's been checked over by Bahnstormer and everything is cool and the gang?
:thumb2

Who did the 24k service? or did Bahnstormer just check it over?
I cant understand why the Belfast dealer wont email you a print of the service records they have done.
I would change it to UK reg plates too.

re

the independant guy did all the things needed for a 24k at 22k before i picked it up. i am still working on Charles Hurst. They have not responded to my emails but will try the phone route next.:thumb2

I bought my GS privately; it had full dealer stamps up to 37k, but the supplying dealer wouldn't provide service records to the chap I bought it from.

I visited the dealer, asked for the old service records, and they gave them to me. Could have made a difference that I was buying some accessories the same day, who knows?
