They offered £7700 for mine earlier in the year against a new R1200RS Sport, so £5k to change. I could buy a very nice sportsbike or scooter for less than £5k and not lose much through depreciation, so I've kept my GS and I'm just going to keep running it for the foreseeable future.
At 22k miles with a new engine and driveshaft fitted at 14k miles, it'll last years on my 6-8k annual mileage
