Whats it worth?

Been looking at a few 1150 ADV's lately and sods law "the one" came up for sale the day i went on holiday for a week and was sold when i came back
Got my eye on a few and was looking to get a twin spark bike (seen quite a few around the 6 grand mark now) but have also seen a 2002 bike with FBMSH done 30k miles, touratech goodies and ally luggage for 6 grand. Is this a good buy given time of year and the forthcoming 1200ADV?
Incidently the one i missed was a 2004 26k mile, FBMSH ally luggage, BM navigator 2 and touratech stuff for £6700 ono. Was this super cheap or Will it be likely another like it will turn up for the same sort of money?

Bide your time there's sure to be some coming up for sale in the wake of the 1200 ADV, Try Rainbow's website, last time I was there there were several nice examples.

Rainbow had five 1150GSs' on ebay this week and I don't think a single one sold. If I'd sold my FJR and had the readies I'd have certainly bid.

Rainbow have 4 1150 GSA's in, two are customers machines for private sale and so not included in the sale lists, one has 2300 miles on it , Remus can, panniers, 48 Ltr Kappa Top box and Navigator 2 satnav, its mint.

There is a good choice of good GSA's, all are silver.

Yeah I rang rainbow and they wanted over 9k for the low miler
there was an 05 in the classifieds on here for £7900 with luggage and the same miles but thats just a bit outside my price range.
I "bought" an 04 bike on fleabay last night for £6260 only to find this morning the tossers had pulled out as they obviousley wanted more money

Glad you like it, it was my baby and had nothing but the best. Ride safe and do that tour I never got around to.
