That’s the fellaMy Dad had, what he told me was, a Churchill tank screwdriver which was ideal - I don’t know what happened to it! The usual tool is an old penny (1d) gripped in an adjustable spanner if extra leverage is required.

Two pennies, riveted together then filed down seems to be the answer. Might make a decent keyring!
That's exactly what I use on my T140.A pussers deckplate “London Pattern”flat blade screwdriver would probably fit.
Might be a few kicking around online as government surplus.
