Whats this connector for

Hi all,
was cleaning my 2021 1250 GSA TE and noticed a connector next to the horn that has a blank plug inserted. does anyone know what this is used for. the connector is in the centre .of the picture with the pointed rubber insert

I’d take a guess that it’s the outside temperature sensor

If that goes faulty you will have loads of engine management faults together with false temp readings on the display.
