Brought some TT engine guards from ebay and they came with these two little sheet metal folded thingies.

Can anyone enlighten me as to there purpose?

They fit underneath the pots, not got mine here so can't remember which bit they cover, no protection by how light they are so must just be covers

They're probably replacement covers for the second spark plugs - the mounting positions look right for that. If you haven't got a twin-spark engine it's no wonder you didn't recognise them and they'll be no use to you!
