Thinking of getting 2 for our bikes. as it is easier by the looks with the amount of space we have to move the bikes around with in the Garage..

Any recommendation?
Bikertidy?
Qtec?
others?

Hoping to check some at the bike show next weekend... but experiences of other greatly accepted.

I have used a 'Bike Grab' for my track day bike.

You set it up for the wheel width, then just push your bike into it. The bike is held up.............. Simples.

It also has holes for fixing it down to the floor. The fixing holes are under the front wheel when the bike is in place, so it can be used as a ground anchor.

If I needed another bike chock, I'd have one of these again.

One of these is good for moving a bike http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Garage-Mo...70?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3ccd51bde6

One of these will lift the bike and with HD castors makes it moveable Not cheap but VERY good http://www.on-bike.com/products_original_red
Nice sickle too ;)

Try Biketek , they do one that fits under the centre stand and if the floor is level you can move a GSA around with one finger , Go for the heavy duty one , has a good brake on it as well . should be £79.900 , very easy to store when not in use . Been invaluable for me , Can get the bike right up against the wall with a bit of foam between the wall and handlebars . There are usually a few on fleabay . Am hoping to get a smaller dirt bike in the summer and will definitely get another bike mover , The missus loses her argument about how much space it will take up .

I have a Bikertidy version.

Well made etc. etc.

However, to be honest, if you just want to hold a bike upright to create a bit more space in a garage, a simple block of wood under the sidestand works as well as anything. It's what I use now.

Worried about it falling over? Leave it in gear. Still worried? Make a loop out of a bit of string and pull the front brake lever in.

Thanks Gents
What I am after is along the lines of the bikertidy and the bike grab.. both very tempting, The issue in the garage is getting the bikes in and out with centre stands is a bit squeezy, and for SWMBO when she wants to take her bike out it is a bik of mucking around, so something like the bike grab makes it alot easier for her, and also for me.

Toss up between the biker Tidy and the Grab, although when I am back home in OZ the other stands are very tempting, I can fit the boat and the bikes in the same area nicely..

The Bikertidy can be awkward if the bike is not pulled backwards, in a straight line. You will end up fighting physics.

The block of wood under the sidestand trick works, trust me.

It also helps if you can get good a reversing the bike in by standing in front of it, the front wheel between your legs, grabbing the handlebars, lifting the bike to the vertical....and pushing.... Remember to put the sidestand down first. Also a good method of pulling the same bike out.

It costs nothing to try, at least.

Fer goodness sake's don't fight physics.

Negotiate by all means but never yield if it get's quantum.
