Wel it doesn't look like i will be changing to spokes anytime soon, so I thought I'd change the colour of my wheels. I'm no fan of the standard colour.

What do you think? Black or gold?

I can't make my mind up ! What about one black, one gold .

Cool, my CB1300 has gold wheels looks good

Gold wheels. On a GS.:eek:Are you serious?

DO NOT DO IT.:rob

i agree the standard wheel colour is crap, try a gloss black or a nice mettalic silver:D

How about high gloss chrome? :-) though you might need to move to California. Can your software replicate that?

Nice photoshop job Graham, thought you'd gone & done it till I scrolled down & saw the Gold.
Liking the black, bit like GSA colour scheme.

I got one of the lads on the PB Forum to do it for me. Typical of that lot, they couldn't leave it at that!!!!

For Gods sake, anything but black.

Black wheels never look aesthetically pleasing in my eyes. They always make a bike (or car for that matter) look heavy and dirty.

I have never owned a bike with with black wheels and never will. The last two that did as standard got powder coated silver and my present bike has gold which came as standard.

Totally agree. Dirty and heavy sum the effect up perfectly. I like the gold but not sure it doesn't look too blingy for a GS.

a darker gold like these would look the biz

Gold looks shit :blast

Not sure what you are eating to get your shit that Gold colour! I thought it was predominantly shades of Brown, now that would look Shite.

At least the Gold picks out the Forks and rear shock cannister.

I like the gold ...... but then again I'm biased!

I think the gold looks shite :)

You should look at a bike (car, boat, piece of art.. :nenau) and not have your eye drawn to one stand out thing (or at least if you do, it should be subtle - a small buch of red poppies in your flower bed but that's it - no more red, a yellow spring on the rear shock... etc.) It should be a holistic work and your eye should float over the whole thing.
The gold wheels just look OTT and shout look at me .... :barf
