Hi,
I have what looks look a crack on one of my rear wheel,1200 gs. I think it is the laquer cracked but I am worried it is more serious. The crack is on 1 side of 1 spoke I have been to bm and they think it is just the laquer too. I was surprised they didn't want to investigate further as this is potentially catastrophic.
i am going to try to get the wheel x-rayed to be on safe side.

By the way I am 5 weeks outside my 2 year warranty and as with my heated grip that failed last week the wheels are not covered by the extended warranty. Asked bm to resolve this but so far no good news.

if you are anywhere near a flying club ask around if someone can eddy current the suspected area. dye penetrant may work also but it might affect the laquer.....
